The son of the legendary Jacques Cousteau, Jean-Michel has carried on the family tradition of ocean exploration and advocacy. An award-winning filmmaker, one of his documentaries helped persuade President George W. Bush to declare the Northwest Hawaiian Islands a Marine National Monument. Most recently, Jean-Michel has written My Father, The Captain: My Life With Jacques Cousteau. Hear his heartfelt tribute to a great pioneer of exploration and conservation, and discover how Jean-Michel Cousteau is carrying on his father’s important work.
