Annual Fund

The Annual Fund allows the Garden to maintain and increase plant collections, fund educational programs for children and adults, lead conservation projects throughout the Southwest and the world, and underwrite plant research. An Annual Fund gift supports the Garden mission:to advance excellence in education, research, exhibition and conservation of desert plants of the world and to always be a compelling attraction that brings to life the many wonders of the desert.

Chihuly Desert Towers Invitational

Your generous donations and continued support can help make Chihuly’s Desert Towers a permanent installation at Desert Botanical Garden. Created in 2008 for the Chihuly: The Nature of Glass exhibition and made specificallly for the Garden’s entry, the sculptures are currently on loan from Chihuly Studios. The Garden’s goal is to raise $800,000 by December 2010 to purchase the artwork and provide an endowment for future care of the sculptures.

Endowment Gift

Endowment donors and their gifts are critical to the future of the Garden because they provide income in perpetuity to help fund staff positions, provide seed funding for special initiatives and support annual operations. For example, endowment gifts can help enhance the Garden’s collection of living plants or help support the Library or Herbarium.
