See

  • 6:00 p.m. Doors Open - World Famous Rani “g”
    • Hailing from Cyprus where he honed his talent for discovering soulful Afro, Latin-driven World Beat, and Deep House, World Famous Rani “g” has since become a mainstay in the Phoenix music community. A good friend of the garden, Rani knows how to please the crowd and spin the world in the right direction.
  • 7-8 p.m. Home Base Poetry
    • For over ten years, HomeBase has been a showcase for some of the best young spoken word artists in the state and beyond.  In their Garden debut, this talented group brings the written word to life.
  • 8-9 p.m. Tim Doyle and the Big Day Band
    • Tim Doyle and the Big Day Band delve deeply into the very heart and soul of Jazz and R&B, delivering this special genre with all due reverence to its original masters. Supported by his rat-pack band-mates, comprised of the area’s most accomplished performers on drums, piano, and upright bass, front-man Tim Doyle deals out sometimes cool, sometimes smoldering renditions of all the classic jazz and blues tunes while taking the audience on a sentimental journey of ‘swing and sway.’
